These All weather matches have extra-long heads to make them safer and easier to light, especially in dark conditions or in bad weather where lighting may become more difficult. They are stronger and more effective than standard matches, able to burn continuously through harsh weather such as strong win and rain.
These Survival Matches are NATO approved and come complete with a waterproof container which contains 25 matches & 3 Striker areas including one that is protected from damp by the sealed lid.
UCO Survival Matches X15 Pot
15 UCO Survival Matches come in a sealed plastic case that includes two strikers (one spare inside). The case features an integrated, replaceable striker on the outside which makes it easily accessible for lighting matches.
Also supplied is some emergency cotton wool which also aids as packaging to ensure no noise
Survival Matches are a compact version of UCO Storm-proof Matches.
They are easy to light, and will stay lit for up to 12 seconds.
Matches will also re-light after being submerged in water.
Waterproof & windproof
The container includes 2 x Fire Dragon Solid blocks (27g each), compressed cotton wool and a ranger fire lighting flint.
This kit has the advantage of lasting much longer than a box of matches and its components are sealed.
18 pieces of flammable impregnated material, which when pulled apart shows its fibrous nature producing an excellent complement to a flint and striker.
Once ignited it burns slowly like a candle helping it to easily start fires. Only a small amount is required for a survival kit, and it packs smaller than the other alternative tinder.
